This way you get rid of split ends without cutting them
Our biggest hair enemy: split ends. This means that it is high time to go to the hairdresser, just now that you are doing your best to make your hair grow longer. Split ends not only look unhealthy, but they also make sure that your hair grows less quickly because the points continue to split and break. Fortunately, there are a number of measures that we can take…
1. Use a wide comb
Always use a conditioner after washing. As the substance pulls into your hair, use a wide comb to brush all the knots out of your hair. This is better than combing your hair after showering. Your hair is more likely to break.
2. Take folic acid and biotin
You are what you eat. And so it can help to get extra folic acid and biotin. Folic acid promotes the production of red blood cells, which ensure that your hair grows. The nutrient is very common in green leafy vegetables, oranges, soybeans, and wheat. Biotin strengthens both the hair and the nails through a metabolism of fats, carbohydrates, and proteins. Products that are rich in biotin are, for example, brown rice, lentils, peas, sunflower seeds, walnuts, and soya beans.
3. Use coconut oil
Coconut oil is a panacea for your hair. It is a perfect alternative as a hair mask for split ends. How does it work? Divide a generous amount of coconut oil over your entire hair and let it soak for 30 minutes under a swimming cap. Wash your hair twice with shampoo. You can repeat this process weekly if necessary.

4. Do not wrap your hair in a towel
Do you always wrap your hair in a towel after showering? This makes the chance that your hair breaks even bigger… Just hang around your shoulders so that towel!
5. Hair dryer in the right direction
That the hair dryer can damage your hair you probably already knew. But the direction in which you blow dry also affects the condition of your hair. Hair dryer in a downward direction and always use an attachment. Do you really want to do it right? Then let your hair dry for 90% first before you reach the hair dryer.
6. Go to the hairdresser regularly
The hairdresser is, of course, the solution to really get rid of split ends, but if you go regularly you can avoid split ends. The longer you postpone a visit, the greater the chance of split ends. Actually, you have to give your hair every 6 to 8 weeks.
