7 tips for healthy and long hair

Tall, thick, voluminous hair… Yes, we all want that! Unfortunately, we are not all blessed with it. One has to do more than the other. Do you want healthy and longer hair? Read the 7 simple tips below and make your hair goal true.

1. DO NOT WASH YOUR HAIR TOO OFTEN

Do not wash your hair every day has many advantages: less heat, less frequent wet hair brushing and less frequent wet hair dry with a towel. As if that is not enough, it also saves you time and money.

2. DO NOT USE SHAMPOO WITH SULPHATE

If you are going to wash your hair less often, you may be able to invest in a somewhat more expensive shampoo. Pay particular attention to the fact that there is no Sulfate in your shampoo!

3. BRUSH YOUR HAIR BEFORE TAKING A SHOWER

Your hair is most fragile when it is wet. So you can brush your hair better before getting in the shower instead of brushing while your hair is wet.

4. USE THE CORRECT BRUSH FOR YOUR HAIR TYPE

Yes, this can also make a lot of difference! It is best to ask your hairdresser which hairbrush you can use for your hair type. This also gives you a nice conversation topic right away in the barber chair!

5. DO YOU SEE SPLIT ENDS? CALL YOUR HAIRDRESSER!

Do not wait any longer to call your hairdresser than necessary. This is because a split hair tip grows upwards and your hair becomes thinner. The longer you wait with a haircut, the more of your hair is cut off.

6. CHOOSE STYLING PRODUCTS

Your hair has a lot to go on and can, therefore, use some protection. Think about the heat of your hair dryer or hair straightener and drying out your hair during vacation. Always use styling products that protect your hair. Another plus: styling products usually smell super nice!

7. USE HAIR MASKS

Boost your hair by using a hair mask every week. Did you know that you can easily make a hair mask yourself? All you need for this: Greek yogurt, avocado, honey and a dash of olive oil. Apply it to dry hair and leave it for 15 minutes, rinse it with shampoo and conditioner. Easy as it is!
